iDerasa is an online academic support platform specializing in Mathematics and Physics for students in Grades 9–12. We work with carefully selected undergraduate and graduate tutors with strong academic backgrounds and a demonstrated ability to explain mathematical and scientific concepts clearly.

As we prepare to launch iDerasa, we are building our initial tutor network and are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about education, academic excellence, and helping students succeed.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

• Patience, professionalism, and a student-focused approach.
• Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or academic support experience is an advantage.

We particularly encourage applications from high-performing university students, graduates, teaching assistants, researchers, and professionals with strong backgrounds in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative and scientific disciplines.

What You Can Do as an iDerasa Tutor

Selected tutors may provide:

• One-to-one online tutoring sessions in Mathematics and/or Physics.
• Academic assistance with student assignments and homework.
• Follow-up tutoring sessions related to assignment solutions.

Tutors manage their own availability through the iDerasa platform and determine the times during which they are available to teach. Tutors also set their own hourly price for one-to-one tutoring sessions, giving them flexibility over both their schedule and their tutoring rate.

iDerasa tutors are expected to maintain high standards of academic integrity, professionalism, punctuality, respectful communication, and student confidentiality.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates whose academic profiles and experience meet our requirements will be shortlisted and contacted by the iDerasa team to schedule an online interview.

The selection process may include a short teaching assessment in Mathematics or Physics. This allows us to evaluate subject knowledge, clarity of explanation, communication skills, and the candidate's approach to helping students understand challenging concepts.
